Safeguarding & Data Protection
Safeguarding:
LSCA are committed to ensure that our children enjoy playing their cricket in a safe, positive and secure environment.
We believe children from all backgrounds should be given the opportunity to fulfill their cricketing potential and the standards of conduct we set of our coaches/committee reflect this. Our coaches are committed to having child welfare and safeguarding at the heart of everything they do.
A copy of our safeguarding policy can be accessed by clicking here. Full copies of our other safeguarding policies, including codes of conduct and anti-bullying, are available upon request.
Data protection:
LSCA are required to handle your personal data in compliance with data protection legislation.
We promise to do the following with your personal data:

apply reasonable diligence in picking the digital applications that we use for storing it
endeavour to hold it as securely as we reasonably can
remove it when we no longer need it
remove it if you ask us to do so
make it available to the minimum number of people who reasonably need to know it
check that persons in positions of responsibility (officers, coaches and team managers) have had an ECB approved DBS check (Disclosure & Barring Service)
